I am a standard wife myself, with minimal self-defense skills, no tactical coaching, and no "live off the land" data. I found this book helpful, informative and useful, and when I browse it I added several things to my searching list that different "survivalists" never appear to say.
A minor caveat: English is Ferfal's second language, and his writing reflects it. (The book is self-published, and it looks that he failed to have an editor.) The writing is straightforward to grasp, however typically amusing (he sorts "embrace yourself" rather than "brace yourself," for instance.) Ferfal conjointly uses cusswords sometimes; he explains why within the book. Neither of those caused me any pain, however you're warned.
